A short Introduction to the English Department, International Communication College, Communication University of China (CUC):

As one of the original three departments at the foundation of BBI (Beijing Broadcasting Institute, the former name of CUC), the English Department has a history of more than 50 years. It is responsible for the teaching of English for about 7500 non-English majors and 140 English Majors.

There are forty-eight staff members, including fifteen professors and associate professors. The staff is a combination of experienced professors, vigorous middle-aged lecturers and young teachers with original minds. They have contributed a lot to the improvement of the English Department with their whole-hearted devotion and hard work.
